Formed in 2015 in Mobile, Alabama, The Red Clay Strays grew from playing small clubs to building a national audience through independent work and energetic performances. Led by vocalist Brandon Coleman and guitarist Andrew Bishop, the band blends Southern rock, blues, gospel, and country. Their 2022 album, Moment of Truth, helped expand their following, with tracks including “Wondering Why,” “Cry,” and “Before the Sun Goes Down.”
The band's live sound pairs guitar-driven arrangements with Coleman's powerful vocals, and its songs often explore faith, perseverance, and Southern identity. Avery Anna joins the Allentown lineup; further details about the show's set times and performance order have not been provided. The event brings a touring country and folk bill to downtown Allentown, a convenient setting for concertgoers looking to make an evening of the city's Hamilton Street district.
